Our Men's team ventured to the outskirts of Norwich to play the first leg of their friendly match against Eaton Golf Club.
The portents weren't great when the first heavy rain in weeks fell at the start of the match!
Despite valiant efforts by our team, and a well fought win for Club Captain Richard Brownlow and his partner Derek Sadler, the match went to Eaton 4-1.
The second leg will be played on 25th July 2022 at Dereham where we hope for a different result but the same level of friendliness and enjoyment.
The first Mixed match of the 2022 season took our squad to the Valley Course at Wensum Valley.
All the games were played in a friendly spirit, but despite a valiant effort from our team, the sloping speedy greens proved to be our undoing with the match finishing 0-6.
A big thank you to all the members who took part, and we go again on May 15th when we welcome the team from Mundesley to our course.
